News
3/10/08- Hello! The Reddmen / Eyes & Ears Split LP will be released on April 18th with a show at The Larimer Lounge here in Denver. Each LP includes a free download of the album! You can order the record through us now and it will ship when we get them in. The show on April 18th will also be our belated 10th Anniversary Celebration, so it's sure to be a good time. For more updates, check our Myspace site. Our wonderful web guru Alex will be moving on to other things so the new site and anthology will be up and running after we find a replacement. Thanks to Alex for the many years of great work!
10/15/07- Hello again! It's been awhile and things are still going great.
The web revamp is still in the works and we're looking forward to it. In
the meantime our bands are always playing and all the info can still be
found through myspace. We're planning our next release right now and it's
going to be a split 12" with The Reddmen and Eyes & Ears. It's been a long
time since we did vinyl and we're pretty excited. The plan is to include a
download code with each copy too so you can have it to go! We're
approaching our 10th anniversary over here and have been trying to decide
how to celebrate. The best idea we've had is an Anthology of the label that
we would offer for free! We'll probably just make it digital and host it
right here through our site. It's our way of saying thanks for all the
support and it's an easy way to offer up some of our best music. Until next
time...
3/25/07- The website updates are still in the works but it will be worth the
wait! Our latest release is the Eyes & Ears self-titled CD ep. Eyes & Ears
is made up of 4 members from Call Sign Cobra and so far they've hit the
ground running. Big Timber will be on tour again this spring and Machine
Gun Blues just destroyed at SXSW. Continue to check in via Myspace for info
as we continue the web revamp. Thanks!
2/16/07: Greetings! We're working on updating our website and hope to have
it all set pretty soon.
Check www.myspace.com/notbadworldindustries to
catch up with us and all the bands for the time being. Thanks!
12/6/06: Hello again, there is a lot going on. Big Timber will be
releasing their new album "Alma" at the Larimer Lounge on December 16th.
Red Cloud West will also be playing and a Big Timber/Red Cloud West split is
being released that night as well. We're putting out both records and they
will be available online and in stores after the 16th. There is a new band
from Denver called Eyes & Ears. It is comprised of half the former members
of Call Sign Cobra. They are recording a CD ep right now and we plan to
release it by January. Lots of other things are in the works for next year,
enjoy the holidays and stay tuned. Thanks for a great year!
8/26/06- The Facet is reuniting... for one show! The Facet will be playing
Denverfest on September 2nd at the Oriental Theater in Denver. It will be
awesome! In other news, Big Timber is in the middle of recording a full
length that should be out before the end of the year. They'll also be
hitting the road with The Reddmen in November. More to come soon...
7/9/06- Hello once again! Things have been busy so far this year. We've
received a lot of positive attention this year in the local papers, thanks
to everyone for the support. There is a big event Friday July 14th at The
Hi-Dive in Denver: Our first showcase! It will feature Machine Gun Blues,
Out On Bail, The Reddmen and Big Timber. It will also serve as the Denver
release show for the new album by The Reddmen. We are co-releasing their
new CD, "Arsenic Ballads", in conjunction with Kit Fox. We've known these
Rapid City, SD guys for a long time and are excited to be helping them out.
It's now available to order and will be in stores after the show. In other
news, Out On Bail just got back from a Midwest tour and Machine Gun Blues
will be heading to the great Northwest in August. Big Timber will begin
recording their first full length album later this summer as well. Things
are moving along, thanks again for all the support!
3/21/06- Hello! The Machine Gun Blues "e.p." CD
& 7" are out now. The sleeves are all different colors
and sewn together. The wax comes in a few different colors
too. Pretty cool. Big Timber is hitting the Midwest on tour
next month and the dates are posted. Don't forget to check
out our new links for getting music online. Last but not least,
do yourselves a favor and got to the final Call Sign Cobra
show at The Larimer Lounge on March 31st. It will be awesome!
Thanks!
